Talichito is located on the East shore of Schroon Lake at the Northern end of the lake about ½ mile north of the island and about ½ mile south of the northern end of the lake (see pictures below). Talichito is only accessible by boat or by a 2-hour bushwack through State Land in the Pharoah Lake Wilderness Area from the East Shore Road.
The house itself sits on a granite outcrop and is surrounded on three sides by the lake.
